Hunt Slonem | 100 Bunnies
January 20th 2016
Cuadro has always been hopping mad about Hunt Slonem's bunny portraits. Back in 2008, when we opened our DIFC gallery, Hunt was on the inaugural invitation and the first work to ever hang on our walls was a Slonem bunny. Slonem has exhibited internationally. His works are in the permanent collections of public institutions such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Solomon R Guggenheim Museum and The Whitney Museum of American Art. This January, we open the year with a solo exhibition by Hunt Slonem. 100 Bunnies in 19th century frames make up the salon hanging that wraps around our walls. The artist will be present to meet collectors and share stories about his fascination with the animals that are his studio companions and models. We look forward to seeing you on the 20th.
